Subject: at the present time, the active interaction of various elements of combined piled-raft foundation (CPRF), erected in the conditions of distribution of collapsible soils, has not been sufficiently studied. The subject of the study is technological parameters and design schemes of the combined piled-raft foundation installation. We evaluate the effect of soil compaction of the foundation with ground piles on the formation of stress-strain state of the system (slab-pile-ground base). Research objectives: to reduce the cost and timing of construction of foundations, develop effective design techniques, an assessment was made of the implementation of integrated CPRF technology in the construction of a high-rise building in the conditions of distribution of collapsible soils. Materials and methods: field and laboratory data for determination of physical and mechanical properties of ground soils (humidity, specific and volume weight, humidity at the borderline of rolling and fluidity), grain (granulometric) and micro aggregate composition, swelling and shrinkage characteristics, strength and deformability characteristics (single-plane section, consolidated drained tests), characteristics of subsidence, filtration coefficient; soil testing with static indentation and pull-out loads; computer simulation of stress-strain state of the foundation with the software package Plaxis 2D. Results: field and laboratory experiments resulted in the implementation of integrated technology of construction of the piled-raft foundation on collapsible soil in the conditions of dense urban development. Conclusions: the proposed design method of the piled-raft foundation has allowed us to improve construction properties of soil, considerably increase the pile bearing capacity, reduce depth of piling and effectively include the ground-soil of a longitudinal part of the foundation into work. This method gives considerable economic effect and reduces the construction duration.

Subject: The existing testing methods and instruments (gas analyzer) used do not allow us to obtain the real characteristics of household furnaces to the full extent. This is due to the fact that the combustion of firewood in the furnace is a very unstable process and varies over time over a large range. Such an important parameter as the concentration of carbon monoxide in flue gases proves to be significantly underestimated, and the efficiency of the furnace is too high, which does not allow us to reliably estimate the characteristics of the furnaces and compare them. It requires a more detailed analysis of the firewood combustion process itself and the development of recommendations to improve the reliability of experimental results. Research objectives: investigation of available methods of testing household furnaces and development of recommendations for increasing the reliability of experimental results. Materials and methods: A detailed analysis of the combustion of firewood in the PDKSh-2.0 furnace was carried out. Results: The results of the study were used to develop recommendations for selecting a zone for measuring the characteristics of household furnaces and using a gas analyzer in conjunction with an anemometer to increase the accuracy of measurements and test quality. The proposed recommendations make it possible to obtain more real characteristics of firewood combustion in household furnace and significantly reduce the error in measuring concentration of carbon monoxide and also when measuring the efficiency of the furnaces. Conclusions: The results of the work can be recommended for use in the testing of household furnaces.

Introduction. The question of increasing the efficiency of investment and construction projects in the life cycle of facilities on the basis of modern engineering schemes becomes of particular relevance during periods of economic crisis. A formalised description of a solution to this problem is proposed on the basis of an engineering scheme for the construction Life Cycle Contract (LCC) model. The engineering scheme model for the organisation of the construction Life Cycle Contract considers the distribution of limited material, technical and labour resources, depending on the class of importance of work performed and the cost of compensation for the negative impact of random factors. Materials and methods. The methodical approach consisted of analysis and comparison of organisational structures of investment and construction activity, analysis of theory, practice and ways of improving the efficiency of modern engineering schemes for organising construction projects, methods of logical-semantic and simulation modelling and the published work of Russian and foreign scientists on the topic under study. Results. The process of implementing investment and construction projects for Life Cycle Contracts is presented in the form of a model of the engineering scheme of the organisation of construction activity. In this model, important procedures for selecting options for organisational and technological solutions, as well as the assessment and allocation of resources for the work to be performed, are set out. The coefficient of importance for each type of work is determined by a mathematical method based on the method of nested scalar convolutions, based on Bohr’s principle of complementarity and Gödel's incompleteness theorem, as well as by means of expert estimates on the normalised reversed scale. Conclusions. An evaluation of the necessity for introducing complex engineering support to investment and construction projects throughout the life cycle is given with the maximum responsibility of the organiser of a construction project to the client under conditions of the greatest concentration of managerial powers. When the results of interaction between participants in the investment and construction process are predicted in various changing conditions, the practical use of the provisions proposed in the article makes it possible to adopt adequate management decisions that increase the efficiency not only of planning but also implementing construction projects. The results of the study can be applied in the development of recommendations for the formation of a new evaluation and regulatory framework, allowing indicators of the duration and cost of construction projects to be forecast considering the negative impact of random factors.

Introduction. Consider the system of organization and implementation of risk management in the building enterprise. The introduction and management of risks in an industrial enterprise is an actual problem due to the occurrence of the following list of factors: incomplete information, elements of randomness, unpredictability of actions of a partner or competitor, among others. Risk management is a process that must begin at the development stage of a industrial company’s strategy, and necessarily with the participation of its owners, since it is the owners who, when developing a strategy, should determine the maximum level of total risk that the industry company will be ready to accept in the course of its activities. Risk management in industrial enterprises should be implemented within the framework of the system and process approaches, taking into account the specifics of the industry using modern effective management methods and production organizations, as well as using risk management tools. Materials and methods. The methodology of the continuous risk management process was used to study the industry organization and implementation of risk management, and systems analysis, modeling and synthesis methods were used. Results. It was determined that the creation of a risk management department is appropriate for effective risk management at the industry enterprise. The main responsibilities of this unit, including for staff and other users (including employees, consultants and contractors), in order to successfully implement the management strategy, require unconditional implementation to minimize risks and eliminate costs in implementing risk management. It was revealed that as a result of introducing risk management in industry enterprises of various industries, a set of measures should be developed to evaluate the operational risks of an enterprise, integral risk, quantitative assessment of which is based on a comprehensive analysis of financial and accounting reports, and conducting an integrated risk assessment based on all levels of responsibility within the industrial enterprise. Conclusions. Risk management at industrial enterprises should be carried out within the framework of the system and process approaches, taking into account the specifics of the industry using modern effective management methods and production industrial organizations, as well as using risk management tools.
